Globe Hope garments are made from recycled yarn, which consists of textile industry cotton waste (approximately 54% cotton and 6% viscose) and recycled plastic bottles (approximately 40% recycled polyester). This innovative yarn is the result of careful development, and its cotton-polyester ratio has been chosen to make the yarn as durable as possible. However, recycled fiber doesn't entirely match the yarn made from virgin materials, which is why it's important to care for the garment with special attention.
Air out your garment frequently to extend the time between washes. Machine wash the garment only when stains or odors cannot be removed by airing or hand washing. In that case, machine wash the garment at 40°C. Use low spin speed and wash the garment inside out. Avoid washing together with garments containing sharp metal parts such as zippers. High-speed spinning and abrasive metal parts can cause wear and promote pilling.
Shape the washed garment while damp and dry it away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry the garment. Iron the dry garment from the reverse side of the fabric.
If the garment pills, use a fabric pill remover or fabric comb. Do not pull the pills off by hand.
