TUPAS headband, black-beige

The TUPAS pin is made of "peat wool" yarn. The yarn consists of 50% surplus peat yarn and 50% acrylic yarn. The peat yarn we use is the remnants of a Finnish company Kultaturve, which was in business in the 90's and which we rescued when the company went out of business. As the peat yarn itself is not strong enough, we add acrylic yarn to it.

To extend the washing interval,air the peat wool product regularly. However, if the product needs washing, we recommend hand washing. When damp, shape the product to its correct shape, as the peat fabric may change shape during washing. For example, a hat should be stretched to the correct size when wet.
